FLYING INTO THE FUTURE

Cartoonist's Commentary:
The above Hanna-Barbera toon reference isn't the only time during the late '60s or early '70s that any writer or artist would mention The Jetsons (1961) and its motif of flying cars, but it was certainly one of the earliest.

About 30 years later for a comedy feature on The Tonight Show, film director Kevin Smith produced a short subject called The Flying Car, using the same flying car and Jetsons reference.

Thanks for the callback, Kev - even though it was three decades later!

THE KING ENTERS

Cartoonist's Commentary:
#1 with a bull-slinger - the classic Mr. Ed Weirdo episode that started it all!

(Note: All pre-internet [1970-1994] strips were originally produced in black and white.
Elements including color, font and website address have been altered and/or added.
Do not take internally. Rinse and repeat.)

Yes, avid art fans, these are samples of the award-winning, satiric parody of a webcomic
strip starring the legendary Ed, Vicki, Stoney, Kristi, Bob and all their pathetic little pals!
Here you'll find some ultra-cool, semi-autobiographical episodic excitement.
So do join us, won't you?
